The advancement of the kitchen is linked to the invention of the cooking food range or stove and the introduction of water infrastructure with the capacity of supplying running normal water to private homes. Food was grilled over an open fire. Technical advancements in heating up food in the 18th and 19th decades changed the architecture of the kitchen. Before the arrival of modern pipes, normal water was helped bring from an outdoor source such as wells, springs or pumps
